The Zamst JK-1 provides less stress on the knee and optimal support for the patella and patellar tendon. The JK-1 is made for athletes / people who have problems with the patella or patellar tendon and is specially developed for people who suffer from Osgood Schlater disease. Osgood Schlater disease is an inflammation of the attachment between the patellar tendon and the shinbone.

This knee brace also provides extra support to the knee during growing pains and reduces the strain on the knee.

Zamst JK-1 Knee Brace Applications

Below are some indications for what the JK-1 knee brace is used for.

1. Patellofemoral pain syndrome (pain in the patella or patellar tendon)
2. Chondropathy (theatre knee): layer of cartilage at the back of the knee deteriorates
3. Osgood-Schlatter Disease: Inflammation of the attachment between the patellar tendon and the shin bone
4. Jumper's knee (Patellar Tendinitis): overuse of the patellar tendon

A product for children from higher grades in primary school to high school. Holds the entire knee to reduce the load.

Reduces the load under the kneecap
Precise compression with the PT cushion reduces the load below the knee. The compression level can be easily adjusted with the lower strap that is removable with velcro.

Comfortable fit
Stretchy double raschel knit material with breathability and the right compression provides a comfortable fit and support. It allows the knee to bend and extend smoothly.

Ease of use
An open panel design allows the product to be applied while wearing shoes. The compression level is adjustable.

The knee brace is made of non-slip material. In combination with the thin material, the brace feels like a second skin.

Measure the circumference of the leg 5 cm below the center of the kneecap.
